The Jeff Show is heading to The Big Bang Dueling Piano Bar later tonight for Cinco de Jeff Show and that got us thinking… what are the worst songs to play in a bar? Is it Sweet Caroline? The Grease Soundtrack? What about Meatloaf’s Paradise by the Dashboard Lights? Here’s what we think:
Jeff: Don’t Stop Believin’ because nobody sings it right, nobody knows the lyrics, and half the time nobody even knows the actual title. It’s not called Small Town Girl!
Aly: Livin’ on a Prayer. Whhhooooooaaaa. Nobody can do that in tune.
Glenn: Ants Marching by Dave Matthews Band…….It’s one of those songs that you don’t know when it starts or when it ends. Also, If I try dancing to it, I look really awkward.
Rebecca: I have a friend who I will not name (hint: she happens to work afternoons here at Q104) who loves to play Mariah Carey’s Christmas song at every single bar she goes to, regardless of the season. Don’t you dare skip it, either, fellow patrons. She WILL play it twice. THE WORST.
